A hand-wound version of Outward Spreading Lines. By turning a small knob, a spring-driven mechanism sets twenty-six folded paper lines in motion. Guided through a circular structure, the lines spread, shift, and continuously reorganise into changing configurations.
Developed as a special edition for my final Open Studio in Rotterdam, this work brings together movement, colour, and mechanical simplicity in a compact format.
